Help Every New Parishioner Feel at Home

The Welcome Team will work together to create a thoughtful and intentional process for welcoming new parishioners into our Family of Parishes. The team’s goal is to develop and implement a multi-step pathway that introduces new parishioners to the people, ministries, programs, and opportunities available within our parishes. We want every new member to understand that they are an integral part of our community.

Ideal Candidate

This team is a great fit for parishioners who:

• Enjoy meeting and connecting with new people
• Have a gift for hospitality and making others feel welcome
• Are passionate about parish community and belonging
• Want to help others discover their gifts and opportunities for involvement
• Can help think creatively about effective ways to engage new parishioners

No special experience is required. A welcoming spirit and desire to help others become part of our parish family are the most important qualifications.

Time Commitment & Location

• Meetings: Once a month (day TBD)
• Time: 7:00 – 8:30 PM (tentative)
• Location: Rotates through parishes
• Length: One-year commitment (renewable)
