Pulpit Announcements and Prayer List

This week’s Pulpit Announcements:

• Our Next Lenten Soup Suppers is next Tuesday, March 17 at 6:00pm in the St. Rose Undercroft. Enjoy warm soup and warm company and Fr Jeremy Stubbs’s talk on the Creed.
  • St. Rose Parishioners: If you would like to bring soup, bread, or dessert to the supper that St. Rose will host on March 17, contact the office or use the QR code in the bulletin.

• The first Christ the King Fish Fry is this Friday, Mar. 13 in the Cardinal Pacelli gym from 5 – 7:30 p.m. Where can you get an entree, soup, salad, sides and dessert all for one price? See the bulletin for more information.

• All ages are welcome to join Riverview Catholic Young Adults for Service Saturday on March 28 from 10am-noon at Holy Cross – Immaculata. We will be getting the campus ready for Praying the Steps on Good Friday. Breakfast will be provided. See the bulletin to RSVP.

• Good Friday is a beautiful day for the pilgrims that come to pray the steps, but volunteers also reap spiritual rewards. Contact the HCI parish office or sign up using the QR code in the bulletin to spend a couple hours greeting or feeding the pilgrims, guaranteeing yourself a chance to hear a story that will stick with you and you will want to come back and do it again next year!

• St. Rose: We are asking for volunteers to be in the church on Wednesdays during Lenten Adoration Hours. There is a sign-up sheet in the back of church (on top of the radiator) if you would like to volunteer an hour of your time on one (or more) Wednesdays during Lent.
